Section 45-34-83 Southeast Alabama Human Development Council. (a)(1) In Henry County, the Southeast
Alabama Human Development Council is hereby established as a nonprofit entity. The members
of the council are the juvenile judge, chair of the county commission, sheriff, the members
of the legislative delegation or their designee of Henry County, and two members appointed
at-large by the Board of Directors of the Southeast Alabama Human Development Council. (2)
The term of office of each member, except the at-large members, shall be the same as his or
her elected term of office and the two at-large members shall serve terms to be set by the

Section 11-65-5 Composition of commission; terms; qualifications; removal from office. (a)
Every commission shall have five members, which shall constitute its governing body. All powers
of a commission shall be exercised by its members or pursuant to their authorization. The

Section 45-4-71 Employment of personnel. (a) The Bibb County Commission, or other like governing
body, is hereby authorized to employ such clerks, secretaries, and clerical assistants as

County. (b) A person who retired from the position of municipal police officer, deputy sheriff,
or other position that required certification by the Alabama Peace Officers' Standards and

part-time school resource officer by Etowah County or by a municipality or local school district

Attorney of the Twenty-fourth Judicial Circuit, composed of Fayette, Lamar, and Pickens Counties,

Section 45-34-81.03 Additional booking fee in certain cases. (a)(1) In Henry County, a booking
fee in the amount of forty-five dollars ($45) shall be assessed against and collected from
each person booked or incarcerated into the Henry County Jail and subsequently convicted.
(2) The fee assessed pursuant to this section shall be in addition to any fines, court costs,
or other charges imposed. (b)(1) The booking fee imposed by this section shall be assessed
against a defendant upon conviction by a court of law where the defendant is convicted. (2)
The clerk of the court shall enter the amount of the fee as provided in this section on the
docket sheet and shall collect the fee in the same manner and the same time as court costs.
(3) Notwithstanding subdivision (2), the fee may not be deemed a court cost based on collection
by the clerk. (c) The revenues derived from the booking fee shall be distributed as follows:
