Section 45-34-231 Service fee; disposition of funds. (a) In Henry County, a service of process
fee of thirty dollars ($30) shall be collected for service or attempted service of any papers
or documents requiring personal service by the sheriff or any deputy sheriff arising out of
any civil or criminal action, provided however, that no fees shall be assessed to the office
of the District Attorney. (b) All funds generated by this section shall be paid to the Henry

Section 45-33-234 Local background checks; fee; disposition of funds. (a) This section shall
apply only in Hale County. (b) At the request of a resident of the county, the Sheriff of
Hale County or his or her designee may provide a local background check to the resident based
on a search of the local criminal records available to the office of the sheriff. The search

County, in addition to any and all court costs, fees, and charges now or hereafter authorized,
there shall be assessed by the clerk of the circuit court a one hundred dollar ($100) charge
on the service of all failure to appear warrants executed by the deputies or Sheriff of Coosa
County. (b) The service fee imposed in this section shall be assessed against a defendant
upon conviction. The clerk of the court shall enter the amount of the fee provided in this
section on the docket sheet and shall collect the fee in the same manner and same time as

Section 45-20-82.65 Collection of fees; disposition of funds. After a matter has been transferred
to the district attorney under Section 45-20-82.63, a court shall assess a collection fee
of 30 percent of the funds due which shall be added to the amount of funds due. Any amount
collected pursuant to this subpart shall be distributed as follows: (1) Sixty-five percent
of the collection fee shall be distributed to the county District Attorney Fund to be expended
for lawful purposes for the operation of the office of the district attorney. Funds provided
