Section 45-10-60 Expense allowance; compensation. REPEALED IN THE 2019 REGULAR SESSION BY ACT 2019-210 EFFECTIVE BEGINNING THE NEXT TERM OF OFFICE OF THE CHEROKEE COUNTY CORONER. THIS IS NOT IN THE CURRENT CODE SUPPLEMENT. (a) The Coroner of Cherokee County shall receive an expense allowance of one hundred dollars ($100) per month for expenses incurred in performing the duties of his or her office. Such amount shall be paid out of the county treasury at the end of each month upon warrants drawn in the same manner as employees of Cherokee County are paid. (b) Beginning with the next term of office of the coroner, the expense allowance provided for in subsection (a) shall convert to additional monthly salary to the coroner.
