Section 22-21-324 Use of proceeds. (a) The principal proceeds derived from any borrowing
made by an authority shall be used solely for the purpose or purposes for which such borrowing
was authorized to be made. If any securities are issued for the purpose of financing costs
of acquiring, constructing, improving, enlarging and equipping health care facilities, such
costs shall be deemed to include the following: (1) The cost of any land forming a part of
such health care facilities; (2) The cost of the labor, materials and supplies used in any
such construction, improvement or enlargement, including architectural and engineering fees
and the cost of preparing contract documents advertising for bids; (3) The purchase price
of, and the cost of installing, equipment for such health care facilities; (4) The cost of
landscaping the lands forming a part of such health care facilities and of constructing and
installing roads, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, utilities and parking places in...

Section 39-2-1 Definitions. As used in this title, the following words shall have the
meanings ascribed to them as follows: (1) AWARDING AUTHORITY. Any governmental board, commission,
agency, body, authority, instrumentality, department, or subdivision of the state, its counties

received or collected by the Department of Revenue upon the selling, use or consumption, distributing,
storing, or withdrawing from storage in this state of lubricating oil remaining after the

Section 45-32-242.01 Levy of tax for certain purposes. (a) In Greene County, in addition
to any and all other taxes heretofore levied, the county commission is hereby authorized to
levy and impose an additional ad valorem tax in the amount of 25 mills on each dollar of taxable
property: (1) Thirty-four percent of the tax shall be earmarked to the county general fund

Section 14-2-29 Facilities - Leasing - State or agency thereof. (a) The authority is
hereby authorized to enter into a lease or leases of any one or more facilities constructed,
acquired, reconstructed, renovated or improved by the authority under the provisions of this

Section 28-3-74 Distribution of net profits from proceeds of stores. (a) The net profits
derived from the proceeds of the Alabama liquor stores in each fiscal year, including all
