Section 45-26-71 Office supplies for county offices. The court of county commissioners, board of revenue, or other like governing body of Elmore County shall provide the judge of probate, sheriff, tax assessor, tax collector, clerk of the circuit court, and register of the circuit court with the books, stationery, office equipment, supplies, postage, and other conveniences as may be necessary for the proper and efficient conduct of the affairs of their respective offices, but not including motor vehicles; and may provide for the installation, repair, and maintenance of an inter-communication system for the sheriff and his or her deputies.
