Section 45-25-11 Compensation of revenue commissioner, judge of probate, and license
official. (a) All compensation and expense allowance increases provided in this section
shall be subject to the approval of the DeKalb County Commission. (b)(I) Beginning January
1, 1999, the Revenue Commissioner of DeKalb County shall receive an additional expense allowance
of five thousand dollars ($5,000) per annum, which shall be in addition to all other compensation,
expense allowances, or salary provided by law. The expense allowance shall be payable in equal

Section 32-6-155.1 "Protect Our Environment" distinctive license tag. (a)
It is the intent of the Legislature that an environmental tag be issued by the state to be
used as an instrument to promote safe environmental practices, environmental awareness, environmental
education enhancement, and for the protection of Alabama's precious environment through education.
It is the desire of the Legislature to develop and provide comprehensive environmental education
programs in which students, teachers, citizens, businesses, and governmental entities can

Section 45-13-120 Compensation; election; oath and bond; office space, equipment; chief

Section 32-5A-191.4 Ignition interlock devices. (a) As used in Section 32-5A-191,
the term, "ignition interlock device" means a constant monitoring device that prevents
a motor vehicle from being started at any time without first determining the equivalent blood
alcohol level of the operator through the taking of a breath sample for testing. The system
shall be calibrated so that the motor vehicle may not be started if the blood alcohol level
of the operator, as measured by the test, reaches a blood alcohol concentration level of 0.02.
(b) The ignition interlock device shall be installed, calibrated, and monitored directly by
trained technicians who shall train the offender for whom the device is being installed in
the proper use of the device. The use of a mail in or remote calibration system where the
