Section 27-36A-4 Actuarial opinion of reserves. (a) Actuarial opinion prior to the operative
date of the valuation manual as defined by Section 27-36A-15. (1) GENERAL. Every life insurance
company doing business in this state shall annually submit the opinion of a qualified actuary
as to whether the reserves and related actuarial items held in support of the policies and
contracts specified by the commissioner by regulation are computed appropriately, are based
on assumptions which satisfy contractual provisions, are consistent with prior reported amounts,
and comply with applicable laws of this state. The commissioner, by regulation, shall define
the specifics of this opinion and add any other items deemed to be necessary to its scope.
(2) ACTUARIAL ANALYSIS OF RESERVES AND ASSETS SUPPORTING RESERVES. a. Every life insurance
company, except as exempted pursuant to regulation, shall also annually include in the opinion

Section 27-44-11 Duties and powers of commissioner; appeal and review; notification. In addition
to the duties and powers enumerated elsewhere in this chapter: (1) The commissioner shall:
a. Upon request of the board of directors, provide the association with a statement of the
premiums in the appropriate states for each member insurer. b. When an impairment is declared

Section 13A-11-61.3 Regulation of firearms, ammunition, and firearm accessories. (a) The purpose
of this section is to establish within the Legislature complete control over regulation and
policy pertaining to firearms, ammunition, and firearm accessories in order to ensure that
such regulation and policy is applied uniformly throughout this state to each person subject
to the state's jurisdiction and to ensure protection of the right to keep and bear arms recognized
by the Constitutions of the State of Alabama and the United States. This section is to be

Section 15-18-179 Application for incorporation; certificate of incorporation; amendment; board
of directors; dissolution; funding; competitive bidding laws not applicable. (a) A public
corporation may be organized as a community punishment and corrections authority pursuant
to this article in any county or group of counties located in one or more judicial circuits.
In order to incorporate the public corporation, any number of natural persons, not less than
three, who are duly qualified electors of a proposed county or counties shall first file a
written application with the county commission or any two or more thereof. The application

or knowingly allow its use or distribution, for a commercial purpose other than the news-gathering
organization's publication or broadcasting of the information in the report. A newspaper,
periodical, or radio or television station shall not be held to have used or knowingly allowed
the use of the report for a commercial purpose merely because of its publication or broadcast.
The news-gathering organization shall not distribute the report or any of the contents of
the report, including personal information contained in the report, to any third party
