Section 34-21-2 Board of Nursing generally. (a) There is created the Board of Nursing, which
shall be composed of 13 members to be appointed and have the duties and powers enumerated
in this section. The membership of the board shall be inclusive and reflect the racial, gender,

Section 36-26-27 Dismissals and disciplining of employees generally. (a) An appointing authority
may dismiss a classified employee whenever he considers the good of the service will be served
thereby, for reasons which shall be stated in writing, served on the affected employee and

Section 36-26-48 Lump-sum merit reward payments for certain full-time state employees. (a)

Section 45-35A-51.21 Suspensions. An appointing authority, from time to time, may suspend an
employee without pay or other compensation as punishment for improper behavior, but no employee
may be suspended for a period or periods within the aggregate of more that 30 days in any
