Section 45-22-240 Consolidation of offices and powers. (a) After September 30, 1979, there shall be a county revenue commissioner in Cullman County. A commissioner shall be elected at the general election in 1978, and at the general election every six years thereafter, who shall serve for a term of six years from the thirtieth day of September next after his or her election, and until his or her successor is elected and has qualified. (a) For the purpose of providing the funds necessary to carry out the powers and duties of the association, the board of directors shall assess the member insurers, separately for each account, at such time and for such amounts as the board finds necessary.
