Section 45-30-110.01 Office hours. (a) The Franklin County Board of Registrars shall be available
at the county courthouse, or at other locations provided by law, for the registration and
reidentification of voters during the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. on regular business
days or on any additional days on any additional hours the board of registrars deem necessary
for the registration and reidentification of voters. (b) The total hours worked by each member
of the board of registrars shall be certified by the Chair of the Franklin County Commission

Section 45-49-110.02 Meeting dates and locations for voter registration and voter reidentification;
transportation and expense allowances for board members. (a)(1) The Mobile County Board of
Registrars shall be available each year, between August 1 and July 31, at the county courthouse,

Section 45-45-110.02 Meeting days. (a) The Board of Registrars of Madison County shall meet
at the county courthouse for the purpose of registering voters on the first Monday in each
month, and may also meet an additional 220 days in each calendar year any place in the county
that it may select. (b)(1) At any meeting of the board applications for registration shall

Section 45-49-110.04 Deputy registrars; monthly meetings; monthly and annual reports. (a) In
Mobile County, in addition to any and all other laws relating to voter registration, there
shall be at least two additional deputy registrars from each ward or precinct in each legislative
House and Senate district within the county, one appointed upon the recommendation of the
senator and one appointed upon the recommendation of the House member from each district.
The only requirement for such deputy registrars, shall be that each is a registered voter

Section 17-10-2 Provisional ballots; certification; tabulation; identification of ballots.
(a) A voter shall be required to cast a provisional ballot when: (1) The name of the individual
does not appear on the official list of eligible voters for the precinct or polling place
in which the individual seeks to vote, and the individual's registration cannot be verified
while at the polling place by the registrar or the judge of probate. (2) An inspector has
knowledge that the individual is not entitled to vote at that precinct and challenges the
individual. (3) The individual is required to comply with the voter identification provisions

provide, through the Secretary of State, a nondiscriminatory, single, uniform, official, centralized,
interactive computerized statewide voter registration list defined, maintained, and administered
