Section 45-3-70 Membership; qualifications; chairperson; terms. After May 2, 2001, the Barbour County Commission shall continue to be composed of seven members elected from seven districts as currently provided and each member shall be a resident and qualified elector of the district he or she represents. The chair of the commission shall continue to be elected from among the membership in the same manner as elected on May 2, 2001.
