Section 45-2-230 Salary and expense allowance. (a) Commencing with the term of office beginning January 1999, the Sheriff of Baldwin County shall receive an annual salary of seventy-six thousand one hundred fifty-six dollars ($76,156) in lieu of any and all compensation now provided by law. (b) Commencing on September 1, 2003, the Sheriff of Baldwin County shall receive an additional expense allowance in the amount of fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) per annum, which shall be in addition to all other expense allowances, compensation, or salary provided by law.
