Section 45-27-120.07 Activities of personnel department. The personnel department shall assist the county commission in the creation and implementation of the county personnel system. The department shall carry out all activities assigned to it by the county commission. These activities may include, but are not limited to: Promulgating all necessary rules, policies, and procedures; overseeing benefits related to employment; assisting elected officials and department heads; assisting employees; providing clerical and administrative assistance to the personnel board; and any other functions deemed appropriate by the county commission.
