Section 27-60-2 Interstate Insurance Product Regulation Compact. The State of Alabama hereby agrees to the following interstate compact known as the Interstate Insurance Product Regulation Compact: ARTICLE I. PURPOSES. The purposes of this compact are, through means of joint and cooperative action among the compacting states: 1. To promote and protect the interest of consumers of individual and group annuity, life insurance, disability income, and long-term care insurance products; 2. To develop uniform standards for insurance products covered under the compact; 3. The Director of the Alabama Department of Environmental Management, with the advice and consultation of the Solid Waste Management Advisory Committee, is directed to prepare a State Solid Waste Management Plan. (a) The provisions of this section shall be operative only during the existence of a state of emergency, referred to hereinafter as one of the states of emergency defined in Section 31-9-3. Section 41-15B-2.2 Allocation of trust fund revenues. (a) For each fiscal year, beginning October 1, 1999, contingent upon the Children First Trust Fund receiving tobacco revenues and upon appropriation by the Legislature, an amount of up to and including two hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($225,000), or equivalent percentage of the total fund, shall be designated for the administration of the fund by the council and the Commissioner of Children's Affairs. Section 11-89C-9 Powers of governing bodies. (a) A governing body shall proceed under this chapter as a participant in the public corporation or individually, to adopt upon reasonable public notice and following public hearing all necessary rules and regulations by resolution or ordinance to implement this chapter and to specifically regulate and control storm water discharges and eliminate the discharge of pollutants to its municipal separate storm sewers.
