Section 45-13-81 Compensation; office space, personnel, equipment; chief clerk. (a) The Probate Judge of Clarke County shall be entitled to receive total compensation in the form of an annual salary in the amount of forty-seven thousand five hundred dollars ($47,500) per annum. Such salary shall be paid in lieu of all other fees, allowances, and percentages heretofore provided by law, and shall be paid in equal biweekly installments out of the general fund of the county as county employees are paid. The judge of probate may employ such assistants and clerical help as may be necessary to complete and properly prepare reports from the state voter registration list of the list of qualified electors which the judge of probate is required to furnish a certified copy to the election inspectors.
