Section 31-9-60 Fund established; disbursements. (a) There is established a Local Emergency Management Agency Assistance Fund to provide supplemental funding for local emergency management agencies created and operating under Section 31-9-10, for the purposes and under the conditions set out in this article. The local emergency management agency supplement shall be funded by an annual allocation from the budget of the State of Alabama Emergency Management Agency sufficient to make annual disbursements up to twelve thousand dollars ($12,000) for each local emergency management agency in the state certified as meeting the criteria and procedures for payment as set out in this article.
