Section 45-9-80 Circuit judges; expense allowance. (a) Each of the circuit judges of the Fifth Judicial Circuit of this state (as such circuit is now or hereafter constituted) shall be paid a local expense allowance, in addition to all compensation and expenses paid by the state, from the general funds of the counties composing such circuit, in the amount of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) per annum, which shall be paid in equal monthly installments.
