Section 25-4-10 Employment. (a) Subject to other provisions of this chapter, "employment"
means: (1) Any service performed prior to January 1, 1978, which was employment as defined
in this section prior to such date and, subject to the other provisions of this section, services
performed for remuneration after December 31, 1977, including service in interstate commerce,
by: a. Any officer of a corporation; or b. Any individual who, under the usual common law
rules applicable in determining the employer-employee relationship, has the status of an employee;

Section 45-1A-40 Regulation of sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages on Sunday. (a) The
city council or other governing body of the City of Prattville may, by resolution passed by
simple majority, regulate and permit the sale for on premises consumption only of alcoholic
beverages on Sunday after 12:00 p.m. upon the licensed premises of retail licensees of the
Alcoholic Beverage Control Board of the State of Alabama and of the City of Prattville serving
the general public including, but not limited to, hotels with conference centers and golf

Section 45-46A-20 Regulation of sale of alcoholic beverages on Sunday. (a) Alcoholic beverages
may be sold Sunday for on-premises or off-premises consumption by clubs and retail licensees
of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board in the City of Demopolis. Clubs and retail establishments

Section 45-39A-10.01 Sale of draft or keg beer or malt beverages. (a) This section only applies
within the corporate limits of the City of Florence. (b) The sale of draft or keg beer or

Section 45-43-20 Regulation of sale of alcoholic beverages on Sunday. (a)(1) The sale or dispensing
of alcoholic beverages in Lowndes County for off-premises consumption on Sunday is permissible.
The Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board may issue a license to licensed clubs and other
retail alcoholic beverage licensees within the county or any municipality located therein
