Section 45-28-121.04 Rules and procedures. In addition to such other matter as may be necessary and proper to carry out the intent and purposes of this part, rules shall be formulated and adopted by the personnel board, establishing specific procedures to govern the following phases of the personnel program. The rules and procedures shall contain provisions for equal opportunity in employment and advancement of all persons on a nondiscriminatory basis, and the rules and policies shall be administered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age or national origin. Section 11-40-17.3 Retroactive Deferred Retirement Option Plan. (a) This section shall apply to Class 1 municipalities only. (b) There is established a Retroactive Deferred Retirement Option ("Back Drop") Plan for any retirement and relief system established pursuant to Act 1272, 1973 Regular Session (Acts 1973, p. 2124), as amended.
