Section 45-44-150.14 Disposition of funds. (a) All fees, commissions, taxes, and other monies,
including fines and forfeitures, received under this part shall be paid to the treasurer of
the racing commission. All such monies remaining after payment of expenses incurred in the
administration of this part shall be distributed as provided by law within 15 days following
the quarterly receipt thereof. The Macon County Racing Commission shall then distribute such
net proceeds on a quarterly basis as follows: (1) The first 51 percent of such net proceeds
shall be distributed to the Macon County Board of Education as follows: a. Fifty-one percent
of the 51 percent shall go to the general fund of the Macon County Board of Education to be
used as they shall see fit. b. The remaining 49 percent of the 51 percent shall be used exclusively
for a pro rata basis salary subsidy for all employees of the county board of education including

Section 45-42-231 Driver education seminar; Sheriff's Driver Education Fund. (a) In Limestone
County, the fees for attendance at seminars conducted by the Limestone County Sheriff's Office,
known as the Limestone County Sheriff's Office Driver Education Seminar, shall be not less
than fifty dollars ($50) nor more than one hundred fifty dollars ($150), which shall be set

Section 45-45-234 Pistol Permit. (a)(1) In Madison County, the fees for the issuance of a license
by the sheriff pursuant to Section 13A-11-75, to authorize a person to carry a pistol in a
vehicle or concealed on or about his or her person, at the request of the licensee, shall
be as provided below: a. For a regular paper license, the fee shall be ten dollars ($10).
b. For an enhanced security license issued in hard plastic and not capable of being easily
damaged or altered, the fee shall be twenty dollars ($20). (2) One dollar ($1) of each fee

Section 45-1-232.24 Autauga County Work Release Fund; disposition of wages. (a) The sheriff
may establish the Autauga County Work Release Fund at a bank selected by the sheriff located
in Autauga County, Alabama. The employer of an inmate involved in work release shall pay the
wages of the inmate directly to the board. All wages received by the board under this subpart
shall be deposited by the board into the fund. The fund shall be administered by the board,
or by the sheriff as designee of the board, in accordance with the rules established by the

Section 45-28-244.01 Levy and collection of tax; disposition of funds; Etowah County Development
Committee. (a) In Etowah County, there is levied a one cent ($0.01) county sales and use tax
in all areas of the county, which may become effective no sooner than January 1, 1996. (b)
The tax shall parallel the state sales and use taxes including exemptions therefrom and enforcement
proceedings therefor. The Etowah County Commission may administer and collect this tax, or
contract with a private entity or the State Department of Revenue to administer and collect
