Section 40-12-392 License - Applications; inspection of records; restrictions on sales; liability insurance. (a) The application for a master dealer license shall be in such form and shall be subject to such rules as may be prescribed by the commissioner. An application shall be verified by the oath or affirmation of the applicant. If the applicant is a sole proprietorship, the application shall contain the name and residence of the applicant. If the applicant is a partnership, the application shall contain the names and residences of each partner. Section 40-12-253 Ad valorem taxation of motor vehicles. (a) Effective January 1, 2000, ad valorem taxes on motor vehicles shall be assessed and the tax collected forward on a current basis to coincide with the collection of motor vehicle license taxes and registration fees. On or after the first day of August each year, and no later than the thirtieth of September, the county license commissioner shall mail a form requesting the information hereinafter specified to all owners of motor vehicles. (a) Each person operating a refinery or terminal in Alabama shall prepare and provide to the driver of every highway vehicle receiving motor fuel at the facility a shipping document setting out on its face the destination state as represented to the terminal operator by the shipper or the shipper's agent.
