Section 45-44-244.31 Authorization to levy tax; payment; amount. In addition to any and all
other taxes or fees heretofore or hereafter levied in Macon County, the Macon County Commission
may levy a payroll or privilege fee upon any person who performs a trade, occupation, or profession
in those areas of the county not subject to an occupation tax on the effective date of the
act adding this language. If any area is not subject to an occupational tax on the effective
date of the act adding this language and the area is annexed into a municipality and becomes
subject to a municipal occupational tax, any payroll or privilege fee levied pursuant to this
section shall continue to apply in the annexed area notwithstanding any other provision of
law. It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in or follow any trade, occupation, or
profession within those areas of the county on or after the first day of January 1998, without
paying the payroll or privilege fees imposed by this subpart. All...

Section 45-41-243.20 Registration fees. (a) This section shall apply only to Lee County. (b)
Every person, firm, or corporation who owns, maintains, or keeps in Lee County a mobile home,
except a mobile home which constitutes a part of his or her stock as a dealer and except a
mobile home which has been assessed for ad valorem taxation as a part of the realty, shall

Section 11-65-35 Concerning certain taxes. The state horse wagering fee, the commission horse
wagering fee, and any other fees or taxes imposed by this chapter shall constitute all license,
privilege, and excise taxes that may be imposed on horse racing and pari-mutuel wagering thereon

Section 23-7-6 Funding; pledge of revenues. (a) The following sources may be used to capitalize
the bank and for the bank to carry out its purposes: (1) An annual contribution, as determined
by the Director of the Department of Transportation and approved by the Governor, of an amount

Section 32-6-350 Legislative intent. (a) It is the intent of the Legislature to establish an
Alabama Veteran Tag Program to recognize certain veterans. (b) The owner of a motor vehicle
who is a resident of this state and who is an eligible veteran pursuant to subsection (c)
of this section may be issued a distinctive license tag pursuant to this division. The veteran
shall make application to the judge of probate or commissioner of licenses, comply with state
motor vehicle laws relating to registration and licensing of motor vehicles, pay the regular

Section 40-12-260 Transfer of license plates; registration procedures; receipts; penalty. (a)
Effective January 1, 1998, license plates, except for license plates issued under the provisions
of Section 40-12-290, et seq., or any subsequent enactment which authorizes special license
plates based on vehicle age, shall not be transferable between motor vehicle owners and the
following registration procedures shall apply: (1) When a current and valid Alabama motor
vehicle license plate has been obtained for the current tax year for use on a motor vehicle

Section 45-48-241.30 Issuance of mobile home identification decals by mail. (a)(1) The tax
collector in Marshall County, with the approval of the county governing body, may issue mobile
home identification decals by mail, using the United States Postal Service, or its successor,
upon the written application of a resident/owner of a mobile home signed by the resident/owner
requesting the tax collector to issue the same by mail. (2) The fee for the issuance by mail
for the mobile home identification decals shall be the same fee charged in Marshall County
