Section 22-21-317 Officers; election; terms; duties. The officers of an authority shall consist of a chairman, a vice-chairman, a secretary, a treasurer and such other officers as the board shall deem necessary or desirable. The chairman and the vice-chairman of the authority shall be elected by the board from its membership but neither the secretary, the treasurer nor any of the other officers of the authority need be a director. The offices of secretary and treasurer may, but need not be, held by the same person. The chairman and the vice-chairman of the authority shall be elected by the board for terms of not exceeding three years each, and the secretary, the treasurer and the other officers of the authority shall be elected by the board for such terms as it deems advisable.
