Section 44-1-10 Penalties; enforcement of chapter. (a) Violations of the provisions of this chapter shall be penalized or punished as follows: (1) Any person, partnership, corporation or association that violates the provisions of this chapter or any regulations promulgated under the authority delegated to the youth services board or to the state youth services director, after notice of such violation served upon such person, partnership, corporation or association by United States registered or certified mail to the last known address thereof, shall be liable to pay to the department of youth services a penalty of $50.00 per day for each day such violation continues after receipt of such notice. Section 45-1-232.24 Autauga County Work Release Fund; disposition of wages. (a) The sheriff may establish the Autauga County Work Release Fund at a bank selected by the sheriff located in Autauga County, Alabama. The employer of an inmate involved in work release shall pay the wages of the inmate directly to the board. All wages received by the board under this subpart shall be deposited by the board into the fund. The fund shall be administered by the board, or by the sheriff as designee of the board, in accordance with the rules established by the board. (a)(1) The use of credit cards for any payments made to a Houston County department, agency, board, or commission may be authorized upon approval by the Houston County Commission as provided in subsection (b), and if authorized, shall be accepted pursuant to rules and regulations promulgated by the Houston County Commission.
