Section 45-16-84.21 Bond of judge of probate. Before entering upon the additional duties imposed by this subpart, the judge of probate shall execute an additional bond in such penal sum as may be prescribed by the governing body of the county, giving as surety thereon a bonding company authorized to do business in this state. The bond shall be conditioned as other official bonds, shall be approved by the governing body of the county, and shall be filed and recorded in the office of the clerk of the circuit court of the county. A certified copy of such bond shall be furnished by the judge of probate to the state Comptroller. Premiums on such bond of the judge of probate shall be paid from the general fund of the county.
