Section 45-41-100 Election of county board of education. (a) The several members of
the Lee County Board of Education shall hereafter be elected by only those qualified electors
in the county who reside outside of the city limits of any municipality in the county that
has its own school system. (b) Nothing in this section shall affect the unexpired term
