Section 45-37-81.04 District, circuit and municipal courts - Solicitor's fee. (a) In all juvenile, traffic, criminal, and quasi-criminal cases in the juvenile, district, circuit, and municipal courts in the Birmingham Division and the Bessemer Division of Jefferson County, a docket fee, hereinafter referred to as a solicitor's fee, shall be assessed in each case. (b) Any person who has been committed to the county jail in Colbert County under a criminal sentence imposed by the Circuit or District Court of Colbert County, and who has been released on a suspended sentence shall report to the probation office of Colbert County. Section 45-7-82.27 Costs and fees. (a) Prior to admission, the office of the district attorney may charge a nonrefundable application fee of one hundred dollars ($100). The amount of the assessment for participation in the program shall be in addition to any program supervision fees, court costs, and assessments for drug, alcohol, or anger treatments required by law, the district attorney, or the court, and are in addition to costs of supervision, treatment, and restitution for which the pretrial diversion admittee may be responsible.
