Section 45-41-141 Definitions. (a) The following words and phrases used in this part, and others evidently intended as the equivalent thereof, in the absence of clear implication herein otherwise, shall be given the following respective interpretations herein: (1) AMENDMENT 392. That certain amendment to the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, as amended, proposed by Act 80-313 enacted at the 1980 Regular Session of the Legislature. (2) AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT. That certain amendment to the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, as amended, proposed by Act 88-479 enacted at the 1988 Regular Session of the Legislature. (3) CODE. Section 45-8-241.01 License requirements for door-to-door sales. (a) All persons engaged in the business of selling products door-to-door for profit shall have a state transient business license and a county business license issued by the commissioner of licenses as provided in Section 45-8-241, and shall pay any license or privilege fee and any issuance fee required therein. (b) The person or business shall apply for application to the commissioner of licenses on forms provided by the commissioner. Section 24-4A-3 Powers and duties of commission generally; insignia of approval; modification of units prior to or during installation; authority of local government agencies; fee schedule; manufactured buildings approved by other states.
