Section 45-39A-11.05 Civic Center Authority - Revenue bonds. (a) Subject to the conditions, qualifications, and restrictions set forth in subsection (e), the authority shall have the power to borrow money and to issue revenue bonds as evidence of money so borrowed, which bonds shall be payable solely from taxes made payable to the authority by an act of the Legislature heretofore or hereafter adopted and from the revenues of the authority derived from the activities, operations, and enterprises in which the authority is hereby authorized to engage. In addition to the licenses provided for by Chapter 3A of this title, there is hereby levied a privilege or excise tax on every person licensed under the provisions of said Chapter 3A who sells, stores or receives for the purpose of distribution, to any person, firm, corporation, club or association within the State of Alabama any malt or brewed beverages.
