Section 36-32-3 Officers; powers and duties; compensation; expenditures and revenues; education
and training; facilities. (a) The commission shall elect a chairman and a vice-chairman from
among its members at the first regular quarterly meeting of the calendar year. (b) The commission
may do all of the following: (1) Organize the Alabama Fire College by appointing an executive
director, assistant directors, and such officers as the interest of the Alabama Fire College
may require. (2) Remove the executive director or any assistant or other officer. (3) Fix,

(a) This section shall apply only in Elmore County. (b) The Elmore County Commission shall
appoint and employ a county engineer or chief engineer, who shall be a thoroughly qualified

protection service fee shall be collected with taxes and shall be collected, administered,

Section 45-49-151.17 Disposition of funds. (a) All fees, commissions, taxes, and other monies,
including fines and forfeitures, received under this subpart shall be paid to the racing commission
and shall be remitted by it to the county treasurer for deposit in the county treasury to
