Section 45-34-240.20 Consolidation of offices and duties. (a) After September 30, 1985, there
shall be a county revenue commissioner in Henry County. A commissioner shall be elected at
the general election in 1984 and at the general election every six years thereafter, who shall
serve for a term of six years beginning on the first day of October next after his or her
election, and until his or her successor is elected and has qualified. (b) The county revenue
commissioner shall do and perform all acts, duties, and functions required by law to be performed
either by the tax assessor or by the tax collector of the county relative to the assessment
of property for taxation, the collection of taxes, the keeping of records, and the making
of reports concerning assessments for and the collection of taxes. (c) The salaries and fringe
benefits, as determined, shall be paid on a pro rata basis out of the monies collected each

Section 45-49-40.18 Enforcement of other sanitation provisions; employment of maid or porter;
penalties; oath of commissioners. (a) Nothing contained in this part shall be construed to
prevent the Department of Public Health or any local board of health or other board or body,
exercising the powers of such local boards, from enacting and enforcing ordinances, codes,
rules, and regulations pertaining to sanitation in barber shops, in excess of this part, for

the annual statement required under Section 27-34-36, each society shall, on or before March
1, file with the commissioner a valuation of its certificates in force on December 31 last

of the district attorney to admit the offender into the pretrial diversion program, but prior
to entry, the district attorney and the offender shall enter into a written agreement stating

Section 16-25A-7 Authorization and execution of contracts; evidence of coverage; denial of
claims. (a) The board is hereby authorized to execute a contract or contracts to provide for
the benefits or the administration of the plan determined in accordance with the provisions
