Section 45-37-244.02 Jefferson County Entity Business License Tax. (a) This section shall apply only to Jefferson County. (b) As used in this section, the following words and terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them: (1) BUSINESS ACTIVITY. Section 11-28-2 Authorization of issuance of warrants. In addition to all other warrants which any county shall have the power to issue pursuant to laws other than this chapter, the county shall have the power from time to time to sell and issue warrants of the county for the purpose of paying costs of public facilities.
