Section 45-1-243 Definitions. (a) The following words, terms, and phrases where used in this subpart shall have the following respective meanings except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning: (1) "County" means Autauga County in the State of Alabama. (2) "Commissioner" means the Commissioner of Revenue of the state. (3) "State Department of Revenue" means the Department of Revenue of the state. (4) "State" means the State of Alabama. Section 45-26-244.03 Payment of tax. The tax levied by this subpart shall be collected by the State Department of Revenue at the same time and in the same manner as state sales and use taxes are collected. On or prior to the date the tax is due, each person subject to the tax shall file with the department a report in the form prescribed by the department. The report shall set forth, with respect to all sales and business transactions that are required to be used as a measure of the tax levied, a correct statement of the gross proceeds of all the sales and gross receipts of all business transactions. The report shall also include items of information pertinent to the tax as the department may require. Section 45-35-244.02 Provisions of states sales tax statutes applicable. (a) Unless otherwise provided for herein or where the context herein clearly indicated a different interpretation, the taxes levied in Section 45-35-244.01 shall be subject to all definitions, exceptions, exemptions, proceedings, requirements, rules, regulations, provisions, discounts, penalties, fines, punishments, and deductions that are applicable to the taxes levied by the state sales tax statutes, except where inapplicable or where herein otherwise provided, including all provisions of the state sales tax statutes for enforcement and collection of taxes.
