Section 8-17-275 Violations. (a) A manufacturer, wholesale dealer, agent, or any other person
or entity who knowingly sells or offers to sell cigarettes, other than through retail sale,
in violation of Section 8-17-272, shall be subject to a civil penalty not to exceed one hundred
dollars ($100) for each pack of the cigarettes sold or offered for sale provided that in no
case shall the penalty against a person or entity for that violation exceed one hundred thousand
dollars ($100,000) during any 30-day period. (b) A retail dealer who knowingly sells or offers
to sell cigarettes in violation of Section 8-17-272 shall be subject to a civil penalty not
to exceed one hundred dollars ($100) for each pack of the cigarettes sold or offered for sale,
provided that in no case shall the penalty against any retail dealer exceed twenty-five thousand
dollars ($25,000) for sales or offers to sell during any 30-day period. (c) In addition to

Section 45-49-151.40 Limitations on construction or operation of racetrack in county. (a) The
Mobile County Commission shall not license the construction or operation of any racetrack,
for any purpose, in an area of the county that has five or more residences within 1,000 yards
of the location for the racetrack. (b) No person shall construct or operate a racetrack, for
any purpose, in any area of the county within 1,000 yards of the location of the residence.

Section 5-25-4 License to transact business as a mortgage broker. (a) On and after January
1, 2002, no person shall transact business in this state directly or indirectly as a mortgage
broker unless he or she is licensed as a mortgage broker by the department, or is a person

Section 33-6-10 Enforcement of chapter, rules, etc.; prosecutions under chapter; violations
and penalties. (a) This chapter and rules and orders adopted under this chapter shall be enforced
by the State Board of Health and the State Department of Conservation and Natural Resources

Section 41-23-231 Notification of intent to relocate a call center, facility, etc; violations;
penalties. (a) An employer that intends to relocate a call center, or one or more facilities
or operating units within a call center consisting of at least 30 percent of the call center's
total volume when measured against the previous 12-month average call volume from this state,
