Section 9-2-3.1 Parking violations on property under control control of department. (a) For the purposes of this section, the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1) DEPARTMENT. The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. (2) PROPERTY UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE DEPARTMENT. (a) Any rates, rating schedules, or rating manuals submitted to or filed with the Commissioner of the Department of Insurance for private passenger automobile liability insurance and private passenger automobile physical damage insurance shall include an appropriate reduction in premium charges if the principal operator is 55 years of age or older and has successfully completed a motor vehicle accident prevention course approved pursuant to this article. (a)(1) Effective July 10, 2010, except as otherwise provided by this subsection, a person convicted of a crime that requires registration as a sex offender under Chapter 20A of Title 15, formerly Article 2 of Chapter 20 of Title 15 is prohibited from driving a commercial motor vehicle that requires a commercial driver license with a P or an S endorsement.
