Section 45-48-70.19 Purchasing. (a) No warrant shall be issued or check drawn on the county
treasury or county depository by any person except the chair of the commission, or such other
officers as may be designated by the commission unless otherwise provided by law; and officers

Section 45-29-71.07 Shop and unit road system. The Fayette County Commission shall establish
a shop and unit road system for the operation of the county roads and bridges. The county
engineer shall, at each October meeting of the county commission, make recommendations for

certain tax exempt projects. (a) For the purposes of this section, the term governmental entity
means the State of Alabama and its political subdivisions, including a county, a municipality,
