Section 34-14C-2 Board of Home Medical Equipment. (a) The Governor shall appoint a minimum
of nine persons to serve on the Board of Home Medical Equipment, such persons to include a
majority who are employed in the home medical equipment industry, and at least one person
from each of the following categories: A consumer of home medical equipment services, a physician,
a representative from the acute-care hospital community, and a representative from the home
health agency community. Those persons employed in the home medical equipment industry shall
be selected from a list submitted by the Alabama Durable Medical Equipment Association, or

Section 34-9-41 Officers of board; seal; meetings; compensation; disposition of funds.
The board shall annually elect from its membership a president, vice-president, and secretary-treasurer
and may employ staff members who are not members of the board. The board shall have a common
seal. The board shall hold an annual meeting for the purpose of transacting its business and
examinations, and additional meetings at such times and places as the board may designate.
A majority of the board shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business at any meeting

member of such police or fire department, or any member of such department on official leave
of absence from such department and in the Armed Forces of the United States, shall die from

(a) In Mobile County, in addition to any and all other laws relating to voter registration,
there shall be at least two additional deputy registrars from each ward or precinct in each
legislative House and Senate district within the county, one appointed upon the recommendation
