Section 45-20-71.28 Duties of the clerk. It shall be the duty of the clerk to attend the meetings of the board and to issue all notices required by the board or any member thereof. He or she shall under the direction of the board keep the minutes of the records and proceedings of the board in well bound volumes (loose leaf authorized) kept for that purpose. The records shall conform to the uniform accounting system of the state, kept in the office of the board, and shall be open at all reasonable hours to the public and generally he or she shall do and perform such duties and matters as the board may require of him or her.
