Section 45-20-71.11 Additional allowances. In addition to the compensation provided in Section 45-20-71.10 the president and associate members of the board shall each be paid a mileage allowance of ten cents ($0.10) per mile for each mile necessarily traveled by him or her within the county in the discharge of his or her official duties as a member of the board, provided that the president or associate member shall use his or her personally owned motor vehicle for such travel. The president and associate members, the clerk, county road supervisor, and other employees shall each be reimbursed for lodging, meals, and transportation, not to exceed five cents ($0.05) per mile, while out of the county on official business at the direction of the board and attending meetings or conventions pertinent to county affairs or programs.
