Section 36-32-5 Functions and duties. The commission shall have the following functions and
duties together with all powers necessary or convenient for the performance thereof: (1) To
study, obtain data, statistics, and information and make reports concerning the recruitment,
selection, and training of fire-protection personnel in the state; to make recommendations
for improvement in methods of recruitment, selection, and training of such personnel. (2)
To recommend minimum curriculum requirements for schools operated for the specific purpose
of training firefighter recruits or fire-protection personnel. (3) To consider, hold public
hearings on, adopt, and promulgate such standards relating to trainees as fire-protection

Section 45-45A-80.01 Increase to ad valorem tax. (a) For the purposes of this section, the
following words have the following meanings: (1) AMENDMENT NO 373. Amendment No. 373 of the

Section 45-8-150 Definitions. For purposes of this article the following words shall have the
following meanings: (1) BINGO. The game commonly known as bingo, which is a game of chance
played with cards printed with five rows of five squares each. Participants place markers
over randomly called numbers on the cards in an attempt to form a preselected pattern such
as a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line, or all four corners. The first participant to
form the preselected pattern wins the game. The term "bingo" means any game of bingo

Section 4-4-11 Bonds for airport purposes. Each municipality in this state shall have full
and continuing power and authority, within the limits of the constitution now or hereafter
in effect, to issue and sell bonds for the purpose of extending, enlarging and improving its

Section 41-4-323 Purpose; employees; compensation and benefits; payment of expenses; implementation;
additional duties of director. (a) The Office of Indigent Defense Services is established
to carry out the administrative duties relating to the provision of indigent defense services.
