Section 8-17-249 Suspension or revocation of certification or license for certain actions.
(a) The office may suspend or revoke the certification or license of any person issued under
this article who is found guilty of any fraud or deceit in obtaining a certification or license,
or gross negligence, incompetence, or gross misconduct in the conduct of blasting activities.
The office may file charges of fraud, deceit, negligence, incompetence, or misconduct against
any licensed person or firm. The charges shall be made in writing and the charged party shall
have at least 10 days notice of the date of a formal hearing. A time and place for the hearing
shall be fixed by the office, and a copy of the charges, along with the notice of time and
place of hearing, shall be legally served on the person at least 10 days prior to the date
of the hearing. At the hearing, the accused shall have the right to produce evidence or witnesses

Section 12-5A-9 Participation of eligible employees in Employees' Retirement System;
creditable service; formal leave accounting system; inclusion in health insurance plan. (a)
Class specifications and rates of compensation for employees covered by this chapter, juvenile
probation officers, juvenile probation professional staff, and clerical staff, hereafter called
"eligible employees," and any future employees occupying those positions shall be

Section 32-5A-195 Cancellation, suspension, or revocation of driver's license; grounds,
procedure, etc. (a) The Secretary of the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency is authorized
to cancel any driver's license upon determining that the licensee was not entitled to the
issuance thereof or that the licensee failed to give the correct or required information in
his or her application. Upon such cancellation, the licensee must surrender the license so
cancelled. If the licensee refuses to surrender the license, he or she shall be guilty of
a misdemeanor. (b) The privilege of driving a motor vehicle on the highways of this state

Section 33-5-75 Authority of Commissioner of Conservation and Natural Resources to cancel
certification or to suspend or revoke privilege of operating vessel; procedures. (a) The Commissioner
of Conservation and Natural Resources may cancel any boater safety certification upon determining
that the holder of the certification was not entitled to the issuance or that the holder failed
to give the correct or required information in the application for certification. Upon cancellation
