Section 45-35-232.28 Failure to appear. (a) A person released pursuant to this subpart who
willfully fails to appear before any court or judicial officer as required, shall incur a
forfeiture of any security given or pledged for release and, in addition, shall be guilty
of a Class B misdemeanor, punishable as provided by the Alabama Criminal Code. (b) Failure
to appear after notice of an appearance shall be prima facie evidence that the failure to
appear was willful. Whether the person was warned when released of the penalties for failure
to appear, shall be a factor in determining whether the failure to appear was willful. The
district attorney, or an assistant district attorney, or any other person responsible for
administering this subpart, shall initiate prosecution for violation of this subsection by
making an affidavit for a warrant to be issued by any officer authorized to issue warrants.

Section 45-35-232.32 Houston County Work Release and Pretrial Release Commission. (a) There
is created the Houston County Work Release and Pretrial Release Commission, hereinafter called
the commission. The commission shall be composed of seven persons, including the following:

Section 15-18-176 Submission and format of plan; application process and procedures; participation
voluntary. (a) A community punishment and corrections plan shall be developed and submitted
to the department which sufficiently documents the local need and support for the proposed
program. The community punishment and corrections plan shall have the approval of the county
commission in the affected counties prior to submission to the department. Any plan shall

and control. (a) The district attorney may establish a pretrial diversion program within the
Eleventh Judicial Circuit in Lauderdale County. (b) All discretionary powers endowed by the

furlough program. The commissioner shall adopt the rules and regulations for implementation

(a) The Director of ADECA may establish and administer the broadband accessibility grant program
for the purpose of promoting the deployment and adoption of broadband Internet access services
to unserved areas. By June 26, 2018, the director shall adopt rules and policies to administer
the program and begin to accept applications for grants, and shall adopt such rules as may
be necessary to meet the future needs of the grant program. (b) The program shall be administered
