Section 16-33C-6 PACT Program generally. (a) The PACT Program is established as one college savings alternative under the plan whereby purchasers enter into PACT contracts for the future payment of tuition and mandatory fees at eligible educational institutions. The PACT Program includes the PACT Trust Fund and the PACT Administrative Fund created pursuant to this chapter. (b) The official location of the trust fund shall be the State Treasurer's office, and the facilities of the State Treasurer shall be used and employed in the administration of the fund including, but without limitation thereto, the keeping of records, the management of bank accounts and other investments, the transfer of funds, and the safekeeping of securities evidencing investments. (a) Documents and evidence provided pursuant to Section 27-12A-21 or obtained by the department in an investigation of suspected or actual insurance fraud shall be privileged and confidential, shall not be a public record, and shall not be subject to discovery or subpoena in a civil or criminal action. Section 45-2-244.132 Failure to collect tax; powers and duties of department; unavailability of stamps. (a) It shall be unlawful for any dealer, storer, or distributor engaged in or continuing in the business in Baldwin County for which the tax is levied to fail or refuse to add to the sales price and collect from the purchaser the amount due on account of the tax herein provided, to refund or offer to refund all or any part of the amount collected or absorb, or advertise directly or indirectly, the absorption of the tax or any portion thereof. Section 45-4-83.07 Costs and fees. (a) An applicant may be assessed a fee when the applicant is approved for the program. The amount of the assessment for participation in the program shall be in addition to any court costs and assessments for victims or drug, alcohol, or anger management treatment required by law, and are in addition to costs of supervision, treatment, and restitution for which the person may be responsible. Pretrial diversion program fees as established by this part may be waived or reduced for just cause at the discretion of the district attorney. Section 22-21-11 Mandatory reporting of any injury resulting from gunshot; liability. (a) Any physician, nurse, or employee thereof or agent of the same and any employee or agent of a hospital, mental health facility, clinic, or nursing home knowingly treating a person suffering from a gunshot wound, or receiving a request for treatment, shall report the injury to a law enforcement officer. A report to either the applicable county sheriff or applicable municipal law enforcement officer shall satisfy any and all reporting requirements imposed by this section.
