Section 45-49-151.17 Disposition of funds. (a) All fees, commissions, taxes, and other monies, including fines and forfeitures, received under this subpart shall be paid to the racing commission and shall be remitted by it to the county treasurer for deposit in the county treasury to the account of the Mobile County Racing Commission as directed by the racing commission. (a)(1) The sheriff shall keep and maintain a permanent record of all abandoned and stolen personal property recovered by the sheriff's department. These records shall state the description of the property, the date of recovery of the property, the serial or other identifying number of the property, and the place of recovery of the property.
