Section 45-2-82.40 Supplemental salary for circuit and district judges. (a) Immediately upon April 27, 1981, all circuit judges for the Twenty-eighth Judicial Circuit of Alabama shall receive a supplemental salary payable in equal monthly installments from the Baldwin County General Fund in the sum of six thousand dollars ($6,000) per year. Such supplement shall be paid in lieu of all other supplemental or expense payments heretofore authorized by law. Section 45-2-82.42 County salary supplement - Circuit judges and district attorney. (a) It has come to the attention of the Legislature that the present compensation of the circuit judges and District Attorney for the Twenty-eighth Judicial Circuit is somewhat below the average of that being paid to circuit judges and district attorneys in other judicial circuits in this state which have considerably lighter caseloads than the Twenty-eighth Judicial Circuit.
