Section 45-36-60 Compensation and mileage allowance schedule; deputy coroners. (a) A new compensation and mileage allowance schedule for the Coroner and Chief Deputy Coroner of Jackson County, Alabama, shall be determined by the county commission and shall be payable in the manner prescribed by the county commission from the county general fund. Such compensation and allowance schedule shall be established by resolution duly adopted and spread upon the minutes of the county commission and shall be in lieu of any county compensation and mileage allowances heretofore provided by law for such coroner and deputy coroner.
