Section 11-51-210 Standard singular and multiple jurisdictional tax forms. (a) By December 31, 1998, the Department of Revenue shall develop and promulgate in the form of a proposed agency rule a standard multi-jurisdictional tax form and a singular jurisdictional tax form for the reporting and payment of municipal and county sales, use, rental, and lodgings taxes for those municipalities and counties for which the department serves as the collecting agent from time to time. In addition to all other charges, costs, taxes, or fees levied on the issuance of all driver's licenses, the Coosa County Commission may provide for an additional issuance fee of one dollar ($1) to be assessed and collected on all driver's licenses issued and renewed in the county. Section 45-36-246 Levy and collection of tax. (a) There is levied from each producer of coal in Jackson County a privilege or license tax to be known as a severance tax. The rate of the tax shall be twenty cents ($.20) per ton of coal severed.
