Section 40-12-176 Vending machines. (a) Every person, firm, corporation, association,
or copartnership operating a vending machine business whereby tangible personal property is
sold through or by the use of coin-operated machines shall pay an annual privilege license
tax based on the total sales of each such vending company during the preceding year as follows:

Cullman County, in addition to all other taxes now imposed by law, special county privilege
license and excise taxes paralleling state sales and use taxes in the manner and at the rates

Section 40-12-253 Ad valorem taxation of motor vehicles. (a) Effective January 1, 2000,
ad valorem taxes on motor vehicles shall be assessed and the tax collected forward on a current
basis to coincide with the collection of motor vehicle license taxes and registration fees.
(1) Ad valorem taxes on motor vehicles shall become due and payable on the first day of the
registration renewal month of the owner, the date the motor vehicle enters the State of Alabama,
the date the motor vehicle is removed from the inventory of a dealer, or the date on which

Section 28-3A-6 Manufacturer licensing and requirements; tastings or samplings; charitable
