Section 9-10B-5 Functions and duties of Office of Water Resources. The general functions and
duties of the Office of Water Resources shall be as follows: (1) To develop long-term strategic
plans for the use of the waters of the state by conducting and participating in water resource
studies and by administering the laws established by this chapter and regulations promulgated

Section 2-15-30 Violations of provisions of article or rules and regulations promulgated thereunder
deemed misdemeanors; disposition of fines collected for violations of article; revocation,

Section 34-2-36 Penalties; hearing; enforcement; appeal. (a) On or after April 28, 1999, any
person who knowingly, willfully, or intentionally violates any provision of this chapter shall
be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor. Each day of violation shall constitute a distinct and

Section 45-8-22 Special licenses; additional taxes; maintenance of records. (a) It shall be
unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation, other than the state Alcoholic Beverage Control
Board, to sell at retail in Calhoun County any spirituous or vinous liquors without first
obtaining a special license from the judge of probate that shall be in addition to all other
licenses required by law. The amount of the special license shall be determined by the county
commission and shall be levied in the same manner as other county licenses are levied. Licenses
