Section 8-13-3 License - Application. An applicant for a license to conduct a going out of
business sale or a distress merchandise sale shall file an application with the judge of probate
of the county in which such sale shall be held at least 30 days prior to such sale; provided,
however, that the said 30-day period may be waived in writing by the probate judge to whom
the application is made for good cause shown. The application shall be made upon forms prescribed
by the Commissioner of Revenue of the State of Alabama, signed and verified by the applicant
and shall include the following information: (1) Name and address of the applicant and also
the name of the true owner if the applicant is not such true owner; (2) Name, location, and

Section 29-2-4 Reporting requirements; powers and duties. (a) On or before January 31 of each
year, any county or city required to report local motor fuel excise tax rate information to
the Department of Revenue pursuant to Act 1998-192 shall provide a similar report to the transportation
department regarding the total amount of local motor fuel excise tax revenues collected by
the county or city for the immediately preceding fiscal year and the total amount of the revenues

Section 9-16-85 Permits - Approval or denial by authority; filing of violation schedule; issuance

plan or a revision or renewal thereof, as required by this article, following public notification

adjacent area after February 10, 1972, and any outdoor advertising sign, display, or device
erected with the purpose of its message being read from the main-traveled way of any interstate

(a) When any mineral or other related interests deriving from two or more separately owned
